In the Spain of the early 1940's, Carmen Ruiz, founder of the shop, together with her husband, and mother of 9 children, was a woman ahead of her time. At this time, the main role for married woman was the care of the home and family. However, she was obliged to take over the family business, after the early death of her husband, and ran it successfully until her retirement.  

Since 1941, Carmen Ruiz, has been established in San Pedro Alcantara. During 3 generations it has offered a permanent collection of jewelry and watches. A big part of their jewelry is designed and manufactured in their workshop, as they aim to offer an excellent service together with the best quality & price.
